The mission of her ministry is to encourage others to take a good look at the simple ways we can all find God doing joyful, blessed, amazing things smack dab in the middle of the laundry, ball games, farm chores and the hundred other things we manage to cram into a day.
Sheri, and her husband Dave, live on a small farm in Westphalia, MI and they are the parents of three adult children, members of St. Mary Parish and she teaches 6th graders at St. Mary Elementary School.
Sheri has a degree in Secondary Education from Emporia State University in Emporia, KS and a Masters degree in Elementary Education from Aquinas College, in Grand Rapids, MI. She is also a certified Religious Education Instructor for the Diocese of Lansing.
Her approach is down-to-earth, relatable, humorous and real. She will leave us laughing, praying, thinking and equipped with practical tools to go out and live the Gospel. Sheri also writes on the website joyfulwords.org.
