How Are You Connected on the Parish Level?
GIDCCW is an affiliate of the National Council of Catholic Women uniting women nationwide. The entire state of Nebraska comprises the Province of Omaha. Within the province there are three dioceses:

• Archdiocese of Omaha
• Lincoln Diocese
• Grand Island Diocese

The Grand Island Diocese is divided into four Deaneries:

• Alliance
• North Platte
• Kearney
• Grand Island

Each Deanery has a CCW Board consisting of  elected officers and appointed commission chairs whose duties are to serve and assist the parish organizations. The Bishop appoints a Spiritual Advisor for the Diocese and one for each Deanery. Your parish priest is the spiritual  advisor for your PCCW.
